Good reasons to write
- A fare, price or timetable has changed. Auckland Transport fares, ferry sailings and attraction admission are the fastest-moving facts on the site. Name the guide and the number that is wrong.
- A track, beach or venue has closed. Kauri dieback closures in the Waitākere and Hunua Ranges change without much notice, and venues shut. A heads-up saves the next reader a wasted morning.
- Something is factually wrong. Include a link to a primary source if you have one — an operator page, an Auckland Council notice, a DOC track alert — and it gets fixed the same way it was researched.
- Something is missing. If there is an Auckland question the site does not answer, it is worth knowing.
Things this site cannot help with
Auckland Tourism Guide is a reference site, not a travel agency or an operator. It cannot make or change a booking, issue a refund, chase a lost bag, take a complaint about a hotel or tour, or answer questions about visas and immigration. For a booking problem, contact the operator or the platform you booked through. For border and visa questions, Immigration New Zealand is the only source worth trusting.
